We received 963 applications this year from around the US and invited 281 companies in total to pitch in front of our expert judges. Houston – August 1, 2018 – InnoSTARS, organized by US China Innovation Alliance, a nonprofit with the mission to connection US innovations with Chinese resources, is a nationwide competition that selects US technology companies for the Chinese market and investors. With the successful completion of the InnoSTARS Seattle preliminary round on July 27th, 2018 InnoSTARS has completed its US preliminary round spanning seven US cities.
The last onsite competition of the 2018 InnoSTARS preliminaries concluded in VestLink Incubation Center (5808 Lake Washington Blvd NE 401, Kirkland, WA 98033) on July 27. In collaboration with OCS,VestLink and Mandarin Environment, the day-long event included 22 companies to pitch for the trip to China.
What does Seattle have in common with Chicago, Denver, Atlanta, Houston, San Francisco, and Boston? It is one of the 7 US cities to host the InnoSTARS competition this year. Across US, near 1,000 US companies have applied to the 2018 InnoSTARS competition for a coveted chance to go to China this fall on an all-expense paid trip to compete for cash prizes and meet market expansion partners and investors.
In collaboration with OCS and Cubic Boston, InnoSTARS Boston preliminary competition was successfully completed yesterday, offering an opportunity for 19 pre-selected technology companies to present their innovations and readiness for the China market.
