Rindy joined the U.S.-China Innovation Alliance (UCIA) as Executive Director in January 2017. Prior to joining the UCIA team, Rindy was the Director of Programs and Partnerships overseeing the Programs Department at the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston. Between 2014 and 2015, Rindy was a Program Manager with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Beijing China, where she primarily focused on program management and partnership building and development in China and Africa.
Rindy spent the majority of her life growing up on the east coast and in Beijing. She has lived and worked in Boston, New York, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Taipei and London. She considers herself a global citizen native to both Rhode Island and Beijing. Rindy completed her undergraduate degree at Wellesley College and received her graduate degree in Oriental Studies at Oxford University.
